My recent trip to Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe was made even more unforgettable by staying at the beautifully designed Tera Luna Hotel. This stunning new resort truly lives up to its celestial name. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was wrapped in a modern, futuristic aesthetic blended with comfort and a splash of cosmic charm. Tera Luna feels like you stepped into the future of hotels, and is a great relaxing resort after a long day at Epic.
The rooms are sleek, smartly furnished, and offer incredible views of the park skyline, especially magical at night. The resort's amenities were exactly what I needed: an inviting pool area with plenty of space to relax, multiple dining options that offered everything from quick bites to elevated casual meals, and Starbucks drinks. I loved how family-friendly yet elevated the vibe was. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind without ever feeling far from the action.
Staying at a Universal has great perks; early entry gets you into all parks an hour early. Which is a huge bonus, that hour early gets me into multiple rides before the rush of people. Another perk is the complimentary shuttles that take you to and from the hotels and parks. The shuttles wait times are usually low. The buses are nice & well kept, with AC.
While I stayed at Tera Luna, I had the chance to explore its twin resort, Stella Nova Hotel, located just next door. Stella Nova offers the same ultra-modern vibe but with a lighter, airier energy. Where Tera Luna channels the mysteries of the moon and deep space, Stella Nova is bright, radiant, and full of vibrant star-like details. It’s ideal for guests who prefer a slightly more playful atmosphere while still enjoying sleek design and proximity to the theme parks.
Whether you’re traveling solo, with family, or for a couples’ getaway like us, Tera Luna and Stella Nova are top-tier choices for your Universal Orlando vacation. Their unique theming, comfort, and connection to the magic of Epic Universe make them destinations in their own right.
